Teething

My 14 week old baby is teething really bad ! Her gums are all red and you can see where her teeth are under her gums were using Ashton & Parsons teething gel and granules as she can’t have much till 6 months I don’t want to use calpol as she hasn’t got a fever or anything has anyone got any tips? she doesn’t like teething toys. she’s also just started rejecting her dummy sometimes only time she stops crying is when I’m BF her any tips ?

I found popping dummies in the fridge for a couple minutes helpful as my LG was in the same situation and wouldn’t take it unless it was cold. Also putting your finger in some ice and then rubbing the gums with your finger might help. If she’s 3 months you can get calpol ibuprofen which helps a lot.

I used calpol when my little boy was teething as it’s a painkiller (infant paracetamol), normally a couple of doses will do the trick. Otherwise anything you can chill and get them to chew on (not always easy)
