In Laws šŸ˜…

This is my Mother in law first grandchild, and yes sheā€™s one of those! She doesnā€™t like the child name that we picked out! She makes sly comments like ā€œIā€™ll have to get use to thatā€ or ā€œIā€™m just going to call him by his middle nameā€ she keeps insisting on changing it. I couldnā€™t care less what she thinks but itā€™s sooooo annoying! šŸ™ƒ The name is Milo

My Mil is the same way we're on our 3rd baby and she doesn't like wat we named him she said our second son has a white name and that my first son was named after a twilight character which is not why I named him jasper it's after the stone now she doesn't like our third son's name Castiel mother in laws are something else

Milo is a beautiful name! I wouldnā€™t worry about her and let her comments go in one ear and out the other. The only opinion that matters is yours and your husbands! Everyone elseā€™s is irrelevant!

Aww jeezz. I can completely understand this. My mother in law is that type. Renamed our dog because she didnā€™t like his name when she visits. šŸ˜‚ My kid? Line drawn. Itā€™s not her choice, nor is it her place to change or modify. But the poking the bear on purpose, would annoy me too. Is she the type that blows up and gets all sensitive if you were to say something? Iā€™ve just kind of been like ā€œhey, this is all new for me. So the 2cents or off hand comments actually really bug me and hurt me as a learning new mom, just so you know. Please respect my wishes and decisions without poking at me if you disagree. It will help us both in the long run.ā€

@Alexis lol I told her she has no other choice but to get use to it. Just keep practicing the name now and it will stick! Iā€™ve always been honest with my words so she knows I stand up for myself but now with the extra hormones itā€™s just bothersome. She has alll boys

@Victoria thank you, literally everyone loves the name except her and her husband. They say itā€™s too proper ?? What does that even mean

@Yvette jeeezzzz M.I.L I swear! Usually I disregard her but now Iā€™m just a little more snappy about my baby!

It's just something you get used to. We picked an interesting choice for first name, since it's so close to our last name (something along the lines of John Johnson) and Everyone in both families still tell me 2 years later they thought we were kidding when we announced it. I can't help it if that's what he looked like when he was born šŸ˜‚ even I was annoyed, but it fits him perfectly!

My Mil said to my face all 3 pregnancies that I am very bitchy
