Blood in urine?

My baby girl is 2 months old, a few nights ago, I noticed a small trace of blood or ābrick dustā in her pee diaper, then that morning a little as well. I havenāt seen it again since tonight. She is exclusively breastfed, and hasnāt displayed any signs out of the ordinary. She seems normal. I thought maybe uti but she doesnāt indicate any discomfort when she urinates. Has anything been through this or know what it could mean?

@Nikki Hunter I heard that too but I think I heard it happens right after birth so I wasnāt sure :/
@Hailee yeah Iām not 100% certain about it either, i would honestly just call up her pediatrician with the question for the best answer
It might not be blood. There is something (I forget the name) which looks like blood but it's actually an orange colour. It is a sign that they're getting a little dehydrated. My son had it when I was BF and he wasn't latching well. He was getting a bit jaundiced. I would speak to the doctor to check and get some reassurance. I'm sure it's nothing to worry about!
I was told by the pediatrician that baby girls sometimes have a small āperiodā as their body regulates after birth. In other words, they are kind of shedding the hormones that transferred to her from you during gestation. I have a little girl under a year as well!
