Is your 2 year old drinking from an open faced cup or still using straw cups?

He's always used straw cups, but we are just now starting to practice with an open faced cup. I probably should have started it a long time ago. But having a 2 year old and an infant is hard!

He can drink from an open cup, but I usually give him a straw for daily use around the house

Both. They only use open cups at daycare and he can fill it on his own from the water dispenser. At home we use straw cups and open cups. I just fill open cups maybe 1/3 of the way to the top because he may occasionally spill. Spills happen more so because he like knocks into the cup reaching something on his plate or something like that. He can also drink from all different types of plastic water bottles (yes we use reusable 99% of the time).

We use open, 360, and water bottles. Just depends. Open cup usually at meals at the table. One of the others around the house.
