using water that is too hot to make formula can destroy some nutrients?

Is this true ? I’ve been using the rapid cooler after adding formula to hot water 😓

As long as its not boiling its fine the NHS reccomend a minimum of 70 degrees x

@Naomi I pour the water ones the kettle stopped boiling 😳

Thats too hot. If you look at the back of the formula tub it should say leave the kettle for no more than 30 mins so the temp is around the 70 degree mark x

@Naomi I’ve been using the rapid cooler so LG won’t have to wait too long when she’s hungry 😔

@Sinthuja does she have predictable timings?

@Naomi not always no 😭😭 I’d be like ok she had a bottle now her next feed will be in 3 hrs but she be hungry in 2 hrs She’s be like haha mummy

I feel that. Until she's got more of a schedule it might be worth getting a really good hot flask to keep the water in and just replace it periodically during the day if it doesn't seem hot enough. I use a hot flask and rapid cool for my daughters night feeds and it works well x

@Naomi thank you I’ve got the tommee tippee hot flask and rapid cooler for the night Is that any good do you know ?
