I'd probably feel safe ringing up and just getting advice, hope you're okay xx

No you should 100% call up and check if they want to see you. You’re not wasting their time for something like that

Agree that you definitely need to call them and be checked over.

Depending on your blood type (if you are negative) you may need an anti d injection - normally within 72 hours. I fell over abroad and checked in with my local hospital when I returned and they then advised me of the above so had to have it done. Best to get checked, they will never see this as a waste of time x

Get checked definitely I slid across my kitchen into the side unit when I was about 32 weeks I wasn't going to call but my husband insisted and they called me in for monitoring. Always better safe than sorry. X

Yes - I agree. It’s not a waste of their time. You’re pregnant, they are professionals and they are there to support you and the wellbeing of your baby. As a non professional there is a lot I don’t know. But there is one reason that was applicable to me that meant the medical team needed to know asap if I suffered an impact: f you are Rh negative and pregnant, you may be offered an anti-D injection after a fall or other bump to your abdomen to prevent rhesus disease. Rhesus disease, also known as hemolytic disease of the fetus and newborn (HDFN), can occur when the mother's immune system attacks the baby's red blood cells. This can happen if the mother's Rh factors don't match the baby's, and the mother has been sensitized to Rh positive blood

@Trinity thankyou. I’m able to walk I’m just nervous to even be seen xx

I am not saying this applies to you or is relevant - but I’m just saying that it’s worth letting them know what happened so that incase anything is applicable to you and your circumstances, prompt action can be taken. Maybe there is nothing but it’s worth checking

@Cerys it's really nerve racking I never wanted to use triage or go in but I never regretted doing it. You're not wasting time and they'd be happy to check baby is okay :) xxx

I'd definitely go and get checked

Ring up you’re not wasting there time at all they expect things like this I’ve rung up loads due to reduced movements and the minute I get in he starts kicking away! They don’t think anything of it and they would rather you come in and everything be okay then not
