I stopped around 4 months just to be sure of nothing in my system

Same, around 4-5 months. Now that baby girl is 7 weeks old tomorrow, I started up smoking again, but not nearly as much as I used to smoke. There’s no time fr 😂🤷🏾‍♀️

@Mia Lol so basically this needs to be my last week smoking 😩😅

Yeeea pretty much 😭🤧

I switched to smokeless methods of consumption at 27 weeks, my obgyn knew of my consumption my entire pregnancy

@Parker 又 I have an appointment tomorrow so I’ll see what they recommend! They know of my consumption as well.

@Miracle my ob was def more concerned about coughing raising my heart rate than he was about any thc being in my body lol but I hope the appointment goes well & the rest of your pregnancy is smooth sailing 🫶🏼🫂

@Parker 又 my counselor main concern is me becoming codependent upon it. I’ve been grieving the loss of my son that passed away this April so it’s just really tricky not to smoke when my emotions and anxieties get to going

As soon as I knew

The day I found out I was pregnant, laws in my state are insane 🙃

I stopped a week after i found out just to prevent any issues along in my pregnancy and birth

Nicotine is way worse than weed please be careful

The day I found out I stopped everything weed snow etc

Now I’m 2 years PP and my body can’t handle those things that much lol

I’m 35 weeks and I’m still smoking cause my doctor never told me to stop

I stopped smoking as soon as I found out bc I’m super scared something will happen to my baby. I smoked here and there with my first baby bc I couldn’t bring myself to stop as stupid as that sounds and I lost her at 22 weeks due to an unrelated issue to smoking. This time I stopped completely bc I’ve experienced a loss and I will NEVER DO ANYTHING to jeopardize the health of my baby especially if it’s preventable. I definitely could use a blunt rn tho I feel like a fein lol.

To me a child’s well being is more important than smoking

I’d say just smoke after they are born if you won’t breast feed because weed is really bad for them and it goes straight to the breast milk

@Verenisse I’m not sure that’s entirely true.

It is ask any doctor

I do it care if a woman smokes but don’t do it while pregnant or breast feeding

@Verenisse I couldn’t agree more but when your first born child dies in your arms less than 6 months ago theres certain habit that get picked up afterwards… I’m trying to stop smoking but grief , anxiety and memories can be really tough to deal with. Especially when that said child was less than a month old.

@Niya my child passed away at 26 weeks this year due to an issue that’s unrelated to smoking as well. I picked up smoking as a coping mechanism and before I knew it not even 5 months after he passed I’m pregnant again (even after using TWO preventative measures). Trying to get use to grief, post partum depression as well as anxiety and now add on being pregnant all over again plus those hormones has been a lot and overwhelming.

@Verenisse doctors are biased though, well most of em are anyway.

I’m not asking to be judged, I’m asking a genuine question as I assumed this group of individuals smoke as well. I go to two different therapies as well go to a support group. I do all the work I possibly can to help myself outside of smoking. Please be gentle as we all partake in smoking for different reasons xoxo

@Verenisse and I don’t smoke nicotine(no cigarettes, no vapes, none of that) I only smoke weed.
