3 months no pay?

I’ve decided to take a year off, we had some savings so thought we’d be okay but the savings have had to be used on different things. I’ve been on maternity 9 months, this month’s pay is £200?! Is this correct? I had asked for my pay to be paid equally for 9 months. But I thought I’d still be entitled to £700 of maternity SMP.

I was caught out in my first pregnancy, I counted whole calendar months instead of weeks, and was left short one month. Could be what's happened here

Do you have you pay forcast? It’s done in days/weeks not months. When is you 9 months up? Smp is also only 39 weeks x

Smp can't be split so it could be that you've had your weeks entitlement of smp :-( Mat pay is not the best within the NHs I've met so many people who get much better packages x

@Lucy I think that’s what I have done sadly! The 9 months is up this month and I just didn’t calculate properly. So stressed out x

@Sarah I think that’s what has happened so stressed out with my end of the bills because partners wages just won’t pay it all! I agree nhs package is terrible my sister in law will be entitled to 9 months full pay x
