@Lauren he’s just turned 11 months. Okay I’ll give diluted orange juice a try
Mine is the same, we have 7 cups!!! She drinks a small amount from tommee tippee sippy cup but I have to hold it for her and she squirts out half of it, some days I have to use a calpol syringe to get a few ml into her! Will try the juice as well
My little girl is the exact same. I just give her lots of fruit and veg, and spoon feed her the water the veg cooks in! I'm really hoping that when I go back to work she'll understand that water isn't the enemy!
Have you tried different temperatures with the water? Room temperature or slightly warm for example. You might have already tried these but just in case: Make sure you are drinking water in front of him, have a drink of yours and offer it to him. Offer it at regular intervals through the day. Especially when they are playing as well as at meal times. Leave it out so he can grab it if he wants it. Try very diluted juice or add fruit to the water to the flavour it. Hopefully once he starts drinking it you can reduce the temperature or fruit/juice you’ve added to get back to pure water xx
Sounds strange but have you tried giving it warm? We're also EBF and it's the only way I can get her to have any.
How old is he? My little boy is 1 in 2 weeks and we’ve started adding a tiny bit of orange juice to his water. Once he gets the taste for it he’ll sit and drink a lot of it x
