Cough HELP
I have 2 under 2 (20 months old & 7 months old for reference) and they have been sick now for over 2 months with an awful cough/cold. I have been to the doctors numerous times and they have had antibiotics and my eldest has been given an inhaler.
It clears up for a couple days then gets even worse. Night time is a nightmare for us as we all share a room (which I need to keep an eye on them) and their cough is making them be sick multiple times. They have little-zero energy during the day due to this and no appetite. The sleep deprivation is getting to us all.
I’m getting very worried due to it lasting so long now. I’ve been to the doctors multiple times and nothing seems to be helping at all. Has anyone went through anything similar?? I don’t know what else to do 😢

This was exactly what happened my wee girl. We have 2 or 3 doses of antibiotics in a row and it worked. One dose of antibiotics never worked x
It sounds a bit like whooping cough, our son is 19 months and has had it in June, also was sick in the night with it, antibiotics killed the infection but the cough is still there after few months which is normal for whooping cough. But I would have expected doctors to pick up on that so most likely it’s not that.
