Clock change

Has anyone successfully improved wake up times by gradually pushing bedtime later? Our little boy has been waking up around 5ish every day for a long time now. I can cope, just about 😂 but with the clock change I am worried it’s going to be 4am! We’ve been pushing bedtime later by 15 minutes every day since Saturday night and there have been zero improvements! Do I persevere this week or just accept that 5ish (soon to be 4ish!) is just his thing?! X

Wr have been waking early and through the night too lately so I'm dreading it! I think for us 15mins a day wouldn't work as his wake up time is fairly ingrained and he can tolerate a long time awake before bed. So I think we will likely just push everything half an hour later on the day and then stick to the normal times the day after and see what happens! May even just do nap half an hour later and bed the full hour later and hope that helps

My daughter gets up at 4:30/5ish every morning and we have tried everything, less day time sleep, later bedtime etc and nothing changes it 😅 roll on 3:30 🤪😭😭x

@Sophie oh god I really feel for you. I thought 5am was bad!

To be fair it doesn't seem to make a difference to us, LO normally goes bed for 7.30 and wakes 7.15 ish, last night went bed at 9.30pm as in hospital in evening, still work up ready for the day at 7am today! 😅 having 1 hour nap still, so I guess we will ride the storm and see what happens at the weekend!
