Weâre NC, so I work have to deal with that with my second thankfully
Breastfeed for as long as you want and switch when your ready. honestly itâs your baby so you do what you see fit whenever they ask you just ignore it or say when your ready to switch.
I would imagine that because they saw you do combi/switch with the first, theyâre just asking the question? Maybe theyâd like to be involved in the feeding and this is a roundabout way of them asking? Doesnât seem to be coming from a bad place to me.
@Charlotte no it's not coming from a bad place, just a tad annoying đ and I do pump once a day for him to have a bottle of expressed milk anyway so someone else is always able to feed him then. It just seems a little odd to me that the expectation is that we should switch to formula. They also know that it wasn't really what I'd wanted with my 1st baby but it's just the way things happened so they know breastfeeding was always the plan.
Yes! My in-laws continued to pester us about switching my eldest to formula. She could tell we werenât going to so she switched to pestering us about giving her milk (even tho as a doctor she should have known that you canât give a baby younger than 1 milk)
