There is no need until they sit on their own and shows interest. My second started to wean only at 8 months, there is no rush for this 🙂
We started weaning our little boy at 17 weeks... Every baby is different. If you'd like to chat, feel free to message me xx
With my first I started at 5 months, this time I will be waiting until she's 6 months. I'm dreading the mess 😂😂😂 but trying to get her off the boob first too 😂
I am starting on Friday x
There's a reason why guidance is 6 months, unless advised by a medical professional. There's no rush, it's stressful! So much easier to give formula, so I'm in no hurry to wean my girl (3rd baby) and she's 5 months old now
Not so much as weaning but tastes of bits here and there x
Please 🙏 do not , not until minimum age 6 months. My first born ate only at 7 months because until then she wasn’t sitting unaided properly. It’s no point at this stage, ideally 6 months is good. Milk is still main source of nutrition for first year. Look into solid start/ nhs websites for guidance. Lastly unless some professional Doc related to kids have some advise then that’s smthg else
Yes, my little boy is. It’s all down to the baby and if they are showing signs. You’ll know when your baby is ready. Xx
My little boy is having puree every so often. Not all the time. It’s all down to the baby, each one is different. You can buy 4month+ pouches so if they weren’t “allowed” it why do they sell it
No, and won't be until she's 6 months and showing signs. My LO still can't sit up, and although she's looking at food and watching whilst we eat, she hasn't been reaching for food or anything. Recommendation in the UK is to wait until 6 months as well, but I know people who do do it early
