TV shows

Since watching ‘Bing’, my 2 year old little girls behaviour has got worse. Bing comes across as very whiney, selfish and always moaning and this is exactly the behavioural traits my lg has started to display. I understand that those behaviours are all part of growing and learning boundaries etc but the tantrums are worse now. Has anyone else had this experience? She loved Paddington before but seems to have lost interest. What other shows would you recommend for a bit of positive screen time?

My two watch bing and I find him very whiny 😂, I love bluey, and so does my kids. As a parent I find it very relatable also. If you wanted something for learning, you could try miss Rachael or the toddler club! Xx

We love Bluey, Balamory, JoJo and Gran Gran, the Julia Donaldson stories on Amazon and Number blocks. My MIL introduced my daughter to Bing and although I can't say we noticed many changes in behaviour, I found him so annoying! We will sometimes let her watch the Bing toothbrushing video on YouTube if she's not wanting to let us brush her teeth, but other than that we stick with the line "Bing doesn't work on our telly, just Mammars!" and she doesn't ask anymore haha!

My little one hasn't watched Bing so can't comment on the whining! But we like Bluey and Puffin Rock on Netflix is also really cute. My little girl is also obsessed with Mickey Mouse. Can't say I've noticed that any of these shows particularly impact her behaviour. She might have picked up a couple of phrases from Bluey like 'not fair' but nothing major.

We banned bluey in our house as I didn't like the way it came across understand it's part of learning my son likes bluey cocomelon and duggie
