Girl do not let them play in your face. Yes it could be viral but her throwing up like that could cause dehydration so call your pediatricians nurse line to ask for advice. They might want you to bring her back in. My girl was sick two months. Sending you love mama š
Yeah that sounds like RSV. As horrible as it sounds you really do have to wait it out. Definitely do not give allergy meds cuz that could make things worse. Plus it isnāt treating the root cause. My toddler had RSV when she was 10 months old. We spent a whole night in the ER, only for them to tell us there isnāt much they can do. Which is true. Just hydrate, humidifier, drain the nasal cavities often with some saline solution. Thatās it. Itās shitty, especially as a mom and our mom guilt. It will pass though. Apparently RSV isnāt really treatable at any stage. They just have a vaccine to help lower your chances of getting it. And itās only for older adults (60+) as it can be deadly to them.
This was happening so much with my son it was becoming more of a serious problem and to consistent. so then we got him checked for asthma and using his inhaler and a nebulizer when needed is the only thing that worked. I tried every medicine everything you can think of
Call and ask your pediatrician to send a script for a Zpac.
