I have a 9 month old and just found out that I’m pregnant. I’m scared as well.

Hi momma! My daughter was 2 when my son was born, he’s 5 months now. I was scared the same way you were. Worried how my daughter would react and respond and how I would do handling two kids that are only 2 and a half years apart. I can tell you that it can be challenging at times but I promise that you have nothing to be scared of. Your first born is going to love their little brother or sister, they are going to be the best of friends. Sometimes it can be hard trying to spilt the attention because you might feel like your giving one more attention and time than the other, but that’s just a feeling, it’ll go away, you’re going to be doing the best that you can and that’s what matters, your going to see your kiddos interact and play with each other and it’ll bring you joy. It can be challenging though with certain things I’m not going to lie and beat around the bush, but it’s not impossible! You got this🤍. You’re going to have nothing to worry about once you see your lil bean. Promise
The beginning is going to be challenging because of the late nights and feedings and you just want to rest but you can’t right away with two of them because it can feel like double the work. And you’re gonna have your moments of frustration just as any mom with 2 under 2 would, this is where your village comes in🤍. Two diapers to change two feedings two baths, it can be a lot at first but once you get your routine down and you have a system and as time goes on it’s going to flow so well you won’t even know why you were so worried in the first place.
I found out I was pregnant at 3w2d while my 3rd was 9 months(she's 1 now) old I just had my youngest on 10/19 so I officially have 2 under 2 now

Hi Christal. My 2 sons are only 14 months apart! The biggest challenge you might face at the start is dividing your attention between the two. Obviously your time will be taken up a lot by the newborn, so having your partner/other family help considerably with your older child would benefit so much! Just remember to have patience with your older child, they also need to adjust to their sibling plus they are still going through developmental milestones of their own! After the first 6-8 weeks it gets easier. But I found the transition from 0-1 child harder than 1-2 children, because at least I knew what I was doing with the second!
