Are you the clean everything now? Or clean as you go through out the day?
My daughter recently started walking. So she gets into everything. I shortly learned just to let it be and go clean it after a while, but we were at our in-laws and my daughter was playing with toys (like 4 small toys) (they were also some of her cousins toys) she had walked into her tias room & was in there with her for maybe 4min & my fil walks in saying there’s a mess ! 4 toys on the floor 🤦♀️ & he was mad and mad his wife put them away where they can’t get them anymore.
I know it’s there house but your grandkids are playing just because they step away for a couple of minutes

I only tidy up toys once’s my little one is having a nap or gone to up for bed at night. No point keep tidying though out the day. Obviously I’m a bit more likely to put something away round someone else’s house but 4 toys is nothing 😂
I have always been the type to clean as I go but it's sometimes not possible anymore.
We don’t tidy toys away until she’s gone to bed as she just gets them out again
