They don’t stick nothing in for that testing they just swab around lady parts that’s it …… and some doctors offer to check cervix dilation and some don’t but other than that during GBS they only swab around lady parts nothing is inserted
They don't do it as standard in the UK though @Kirsty right? But it's just a swab like thrush etc
It’s just a cotton swab and my doctor had me do it myself privately. Probably the least scary pregnancy related thing. I was positive so glad the test was available
With my first, my doctor did it and it was as quick as a pap exam. With my second, my doctor had me do the swab myself in the bathroom while I did the urine sample. I liked that much better 😂
Isn't that Group B Strep? I gave a urine sample for that. No stress, no pain, no issue.
Not my favourite appointment by any means, but it's not scary.
