@Pia exactly my point!! she thinks because she decided not to wait with her children i should do the same. ABSOLUTELY NOT!! there is a reason my boyfriend has stomach problems and i will not even give that risk to my daughter.
Your mother in law just 🤯 but has baby been checked for tongue tie? It sounds like they have an incorrect latch - milk shouldn’t leak from their mouth as they feed (assuming you mean messy as in milk leaks as she feeds - apologies if not!) x
@Yasmin she’s has a slight tongue tie but they’re not concerned as she can fully stick her tongue out and it isn’t restricted xx
I can almost guarantee it would be because of a tongue tie or she just needs to try a different bottle. Best of luck! But absolutely do not give her stage 2!!
Or if she’s BF maybe check with a lactation consultant, they’ll check her latch and give you the best advice
If milk is coming outside of her mouth tongue tie is 100% affecting her I’d get a second opinion personally x
Absolutely not!!!! Stage two is lower calorie because they are not expected to bulk up anymore and they will be starting solids. Stage 1 is for up to 6 months, your mil is deranged :(
