Bleeding after vaginal birth

I am day 10 postpartum, and still have period like bleeding. And it hasnt been improving since day 3,4–Is anyone else have the same experience?

i bled for the entire 6 weeks of postpartum:,) some just bleed more than others

How much was it? Mine is like heavy period

it was a lot of heavy bleeding. it didn’t get lighter until like..2-3 weeks for me

I bled for 6 weeks stopped for one and then again one more week. 2 months and I think I’m finally done

Its normal to bleed for few weeks post delivery. But just watch out for any golf ball sized lump. If you see any, then have to call the nurse.

I kept bleeding for like 3 weeks but only spotting, they did tell me if I had clots coming out too go too the hospital

It could last up to 8 weeks, just gotta make sure it’s not more than 3 pads in an hour or smt like that I think is the rule. I started bleeding fresh blood around my 4th day, not period like, so the doctor told me I needed to not push it and rest more, bath salts everyday, ice packs ( that’s if you had vaginal birth of crs, not sure of instructions for c-section). It’s difficult with a newborn but just gotta make sure you give yourself time to heal as much as possible. If you have concerns always better to check with your doctor, better be safe.
