I lean on my therapist when I feel Overwhelmed. I highly recommend seeking a therapist to speak to. Psychologytoday.com is a good place to search for someone that would sound like a good fit. Wishing you well. It’s a lot! Being a new mama is A LOT.

I was really struggling with PPA and PPD and I was prescribed Zoloft. It has helped tremendously!

I had PPA with my 1st almost 5 years ago & I truly wish I got help then. Like professional help. Don’t feel ashamed. It will help in alllll aspects

Its been hard for me as well. Super lonely no family out here at all!!!! All lonely here. Just had a baby boy he melts my heart but yes its very very lonely. My husband helps him at night and me daytime. I have like no time for anything anymore. Hard to take care of myself these days…… i dont feel depressed just lonely idk my food taste buds are totally gone as well loss of appetite

What are your intrusive thoughts about?

I’m the same way. I am seeing a women’s psychiatrist group to help me adjust. I see and talk to them remotely. If that’s not something you’re ready for, I would recommend calling a motherhood hotline or support group in your area and sharing. Don’t be afraid, they will help you to gauge whether you should seek help. https://mchb.hrsa.gov/programs-impact/national-maternal-mental-health-hotline Feel free to DM me if you want to share and I’m happy to share my experience
