Getting over the fear of illness

Has any of you gone through anxiety while going through the vaccine free journey? I’m a new mom & new to this world of avoiding the medicalization of my child. On one hand I believe in modern medicine and how it benefited society, but at the same time I’m having a hard time trusting doctors and medical institutions. I’m also constantly worried that pumping medicine and vaccines into my child while simultaneously anxious about him getting seriously ill because I didn’t vaccinate him. I am definitely feeling paralyzed by the fear mongering from both ends of the spectrum. Did any of you have to get over this as well? If so, how did you do it?

If you're spiritual, I think about how God created us with everything we need, including immaculate systems in our bodies. I follow non-toxic, crunchy moms on social media who are more experienced, and I learn from them! Join groups on fb as well. They're really supportive. Also, continue to eat whole foods, go outside, and build their immune system. My daughter is 2 and has only had a cold once. Community, Community, Community is the big takeaway here! ❤️

I'm trying not to but the BIGS really know how to instill fear via convenience of western/conventional medicine. But I also am not naive or fully against conventional...there is a time or place. What is helping me is to learn about remedies and ailments when I'm not stressing or the baby isn't already sick. We are actually on our way to pediatrician today because i suspect croup or whooping cough. But. I also am very vocal and involved with treatment... if they want to give her something we don't agree with like an antibiotic(for example) then you can always say no. I've been trying to get into a replacement mindset. Replacing our medicine cabinet with tinctures and supplements. And Replacing doom scrolling with reading a book on phone or hard copy that I can educate myself more one caring for us and our child. God is creator of us and wants us to use the gifts given and not take advantage or become dependent that we don't trust the body he gave us.

Reading the book “dissolving illusions” was really key to my no vax choice, I was already leaning that way due to the ingredients from the health (formaldehyde, aluminum, titanium dioxide, etc that I would avoid in food and skincare for example) and ethical (some shots have aborted baby cells in their lines) standpoints but I didn’t have more to back up my viewpoint. Having the education behind what ailments were being protected against, how vaccines actually work, the risks and benefits of both vaccinating and not, how to treat the various ailments all really helped my confidence
