How soon can GD start?

I know it’s meant to be rather symptomless but at 14 weeks I’m peeing all night, much less during the day, and I get extremely tired after eating carbs. Is it worth seeing if I can pull the test forward? I also have PCOS which I think is a risk factor for GD?

I was diagnosed with GD with my first at 12 weeks you can advocate for early testing, this time around I wasn’t diagnosed until 17 weeks.

I was diagnosed at 16 weeks with blood tests xx

25 weeks last time, 5 weeks this time. Definitely contact your midwife just in case x

Not sure where you are but in UK they say the best time to test is 28 weeks. I was given a test at 24 weeks due to having glucose in my urine and it came back negative. They kept my 28 week test in because of my heritage etc and at 28 weeks I was diagnosed. So, even if you come out negative earlier on, might be worth for asking for another test at 28 weeks to be in the safe side and not have a diagnosis missed.
