Teething???

How do yall tell if your baby is teething or not? My son never had a bad experience or symptoms when he was teething. They just popped through, no extra fussy days or EXCESSIVE chewing & drooling. But my twins are 7 months now and I’m wondering if one of them is teething? They’ve both been gnawing on teething toys since about 4 months but at their 4 month check up doctor said she didn’t see any teeth about to pop through so we chopped it up as just babies wanting to put things in their mouth. Now recently one of my twins has been SUUUUPER clingy, not finishing her bottle all at once but more so in very often increments, they both are still just chewing on teething toys and normal amounts of drool. Idk if it’s teething or just a clingy stage (but my other twin isn’t being clingy at all). If she’s teething & in pain I’d like to give her appropriate pain medicine but I don’t just want to assume that’s what it is & give her medicine unnecessarily.

Look for puffy gums, rosey cheeks, ear pulling, rubbing thier cheeks. They have lots of natural teething products. We really like Dr Talbots teething tablets and gum gel.

They put their hands in their mouth and basically anything they are playing with, they also have a warm forehead and neck.

A few things my little one does when she is teething is never wanting to give up her Binki. She usually only uses it for sleep, but when she starts to get a tooth, she wants it all the time. She also becomes very clingy and only wants to sit on my lap, she’ll run a slight fever and not want to eat a lot. After a few days of that, I can start to see the white line of the tooth about to pop through her gums. Once it starts to get to the top, she’ll want to chew on everything and she’ll want to snack on her crunch snacks.

My girl is almost 9 months and I can see her first tooth just barely through the gum! When I feel her gums with my finger it feels a little sharp in one spot. She has been drooling a TON, chewing on everything in one spot (where the tooth is coming) and at night she wakes a few times screaming in pain. I offer her my breast and she falls back asleep usually after a minute or two of squirming
