Just remember it takes time. We all have different bodies! Just know you are beautiful! Your body is still recovering but did a beautiful thing! Try to Focus on things you can control and have time for! If working out isn’t mentally or physically okay then don’t do it right now. Maybe it’s water consumption or sleep (easier said than done), getting more steps in, Eating more protein. It can be as small as changing one habit and staying consistent with it! Also stop watching social media or comparing your self to others! You’re doing great!!!

I've been working out since I was 13 years old, I am what is considered a gym rat, and every two months, I normally lose motivation. I used to get upset, especially when comparing myself with other people. But I realized my body became depleted: physically and mentally. So I take a break and come back with new "tools" to keep the motivation going (music, clothes, workout buddy, etc.). So, in a nutsell, it is normal to lose motivation and feel stuck. Check out this book. It might help you in your journey How to become a Gym Rat!: A guide through for women https://a.co/d/30H6Epn

@Vanessa part of it is trying to do stuff with kids running around the living room. They like to get in the way or mess with my exercise bike

Can you involve them? Have them do some exercise

@Vanessa it’s doesn’t work with them

Kids wouldn't leave you alone until they are part of whatever you are doing. If I had a few kids, they would be exercising with me. Also, can you wake up earlier when they are sleeping so you can work out?

Work around it. Before they wake up, when your husband take over, when they go to sleep

@Vanessa they are up between 5-6. They would rather run back and forth in the living room and up the stairs.

You could wake up at 4 am. to work out. We have identified what kind of athletes they are: runners. Can you take them to run with you outside?

@Vanessa I’m more of a sit in the house all day kind of person. I was walking in the house but we moved things so I can’t do that anymore. Then I started using my bike but now the youngest has stopped taking naps so they are both running mad through the house.

They have a lot of energy, and that's their way to get rid it it. U can try to move things in your house to make a safe space for them to run while you work out. My house is 700 sqf, and I have all kinds of stuff you can imagine. Creativity is your resource
