Do you have a lawyer? An attorney will help you navigate family court, and there are non-profits that can represent you if you are in need and can't afford to pay for legal services. Legal Services NYC: https://www.legalservicesnyc.org/resources/domestic-violence-family-law/ Some of them say domestic violence at the top, but if you keep reading you'll see that they help with all kinds of family law issues.
