I would try to get him to a feeding specialist. I’ve seen someone on YouTube do this for her son. She started going to like feeding therapy. I would suggest either looking around and trying to get an appointment or calling your doctor to send in a referral
Is it possible this could be a learnt behaviour?
My son is the same and I’m not forcing him to eat. I have faith that he will grow out of it eventually — he shows interest in our food and we offer often but still nothing. For now we put supplements in his milk and let him eat his foods when he’s hungry.
He needs feeding therapy. It’s a sensory thing, and a feeding therapist could help him work through it.
@Colette I did think that at first, but my daughter is completely different so that makes me think otherwise
@Miriam same here I somewhat grew out of it eventually, makes me sad when I bring dinner out and he runs to his high chair then he realises what’s on the plate and walks off
I’ve spoken to doctors etc but they say as long as he’s having multivitamins and he’s eating something that’s all that matters,.. but it’s just sad to see my daughter who’s 2 and very picky as well but at least she eats some cooked food
