Pasta sauce

Hi what can I use for a pasta sauce for my 7 month old, she’s been eating since 4 months due to milk issues and I feel like she’s getting bored of puree now and tried a jar with little pasta stars but I how would I make my own one without it being too much for her tummy?

Look up different recipes for sauces for babies. You can make a simple bolognaise sauce and blend it up. A pesto sauce. Any type of sauce you can think off and then you know what’s in it as well x

I make my own pasta sauce for little one, I just use chopped tomatoes as the base and then throw in any veggies I have, add some garlic and little dried herbs and blend it all together. Freezes well also.

A butternut squash blend or a spinach/broccoli blend might be nice. Make something you can enjoy too!

Annabel Karmel has amazing recipes online!

I made pasta sauce for my lb around that age with a bit of onion and carrot fried with butter, then fresh tomatoes peeled. Then blend it with some parmesan cheese. You can also add meat and peppers

Just roast a few veggies and blend. Simplest way. Can add things like meat stock or butter or cheese to add more fat/protein

My lo loves sweet potato and red pepper, I sometimes add seasoning like garlic or paprika to give it an extra taste

roasted Mediterranean vegetables, pesto, blended chicken and pumpkin, salmon and sweet potato - you can pretty much blend anything and turn it into a pasta sauce even spag bol ect

If you're in a rush, philidelphia with some tomato puree and garlic granules makes a nice sauce. You can use reserved cooking water from the pasta to thin out the sauce as much as you need to coat the pasta. x

Can blend avocado with parmesan, spinach and garlic granules makes a nice creamy sauce

Use a baby purée and mix with cooked pasta

@Laine I’ve taken note of those ingredients 👍🏼 will try with my little one who is almost 8 months, thanks 😁 x

Thank you all🫶🏻
