Hello ladies!!! Please, if you’re on Statutory maternity pay or allowance, can you advise when you got your first allowance/pay.
I started my Maternity leave on the 26/09 which is the date my salary is usually paid, now I’m confused if the first 6weeks pay will be send on the 26/10 or paid exactly at 6weeks from the 26/09?

Yes it was, but not the full 6 weeks worth. It was 4 weeks x
Are you on smp or Ma as the answers will be different depending on that. Smp is paid through your work on the same day as your work would normally pay you. The first 6 weeks is at 90% but you don’t get that in one go, you get the same amount of weeks/days as you would normally get from work so for me it was 4 weeks and then the following pay check was 2 weeks of 90% and then 2 weeks of stat. Ma is paid on a set day either 2 weekly or 4 weekly through the gov and has nothing to do with your work. You also don’t get the 6 weeks at 90% so that part isn’t relevant
I get paid the same date as usual, last working weekday of each month. I started mat leave end of August. I get 90% for 6 weeks so I think this pay will be two weeks at 90% and the rest SMP x
