Ever been in this situation ?
My friend always replies very bluntly to text messages, like “ yes, true, no, lol” and only messages first when they want to rant about their life ..
if you were in this situation would you stop messaging first ? Talk to them about it ? Or give them the same energy ?

@Sara I’ve mentioned it before but she said that’s just how she is .. but I’ve seen the way she interacts with others and care for others so I know she can do better
I had a friend like that, we aren’t friends anymore if that says anything
I have a friend like that, but she is autistic. There is no other excuse for it. So I wouldn't stand for it personally.
Well then I would stop calling her a close friend. We have to believe the boundaries people set for themselves.
