Memory quilt

Finally got time to sew my youngests quilt top together. Always the same your own stuff takes a back seat. Now just to find backing material for it. I’m thinking of using a nice thick brushed cotton. It’s roughly 5ft by 6ft 8. Had to get my husband to hold it up

Amazing well done! I had bagged up all of my 2.5 year olds stuff to do the same but now I’m due another baby in a week and have had to pull it all out to use again. Did you get your second new stuff knowing you wanted to do this? Now I’m not sure how I’ll do one for each as they will be sharing a fair amount of the young clothing!

@Emily i have 2 boys so they did share a lot of clothes but i also got him new bits and peices as well. A lot of the onesies they shared so i used the fronts on my oldest boys and the backs on this one. I used sleeping bags as well so they do have some matching patches as well.

I’ve only started quilting in the last year so had never planned to make them from the outset

@Zara not going to lie I do get ever so slightly obsessive when I comes to my sewing 🙈 everything is measured a million times before I cut it
