Uber/Door Dash Jobs question

I am a sahm in desperate need of extra income. The only job I can’t think of that allows me to work with my toddler is being a Uber eats/door dash driver. Does anyone have any experience with this kind of jobs? I feel like it’s not used a lot here in Bakersfield, is there any money to be made? Just want to get feedback of your experience working Uber/door dash or experience of someone u know. I just have to clue what to expect
