First period
I’m having my first period since giving birth and it’s super heavy and going on 10 days now. They only used to be 4/5 days long. When should I worry?

Idk if you got bc or not, but I got an iud and have bleeding for about 3 weeks.. they said not to worry unless I'm going through a pad in an hour or less.. assuming super heavy like birth, if there's large clots, then it'd also be concerned
I was the same way! Periods used to last 4-5 days, and my first one postpartum lasted around 9-10 days. It was also super heavy. My doctor said not to be concerned unless you filled a whole pad in less than an hour or had golf ball sized clots or larger.
My first period was about the same. I thought I was gonna bleed out. I’m on period #2 and it’s back to a normal period for me. It’s normal I’d say unless your passing large clots

That’s how mine is. My doc said to be concerned if there are clots that are lemon-sized, if you are dizzy/light headed. I took it upon myself to take iron pills because it’s SOOO HEAVY! I hope you feel better!
