Pregnancy hormones and toddler

I’m 30 weeks with my second, my son is 2.5. He’s amazing and usually a delight as far as toddlers go but recently we’ve had a few more tantrums. Nothing major but omg I am so easily triggered and get sooooo angry. I don’t show him this and do my best to hold it together and not raise my voice etc but I’m also only human. I’m scared how I’m going to cope with a newborn and him if I’m struggling so much already :(

This is so relatable!!! I have a toddler, dog, husband and tonight I am sitting in my bedroom by myself because i need a BREAK. My toddler just fell off a chair and hit her mouth on the wood floor and bled a good amount 😅 I’m exhausted, depressed, and cranky as hell.

Here for this! We are doing ok with tantrums but are going through a major Mummy phase with our 2yr old at the moment. It’s beautiful but can be quite stifling and makes me panic about what that will look like when the baby arrives. I’m sure it’ll all settle but it’s certainly another dynamic to think about and prep for!

Thank you both. I’m glad I’m not alone!!! We’re blessed he is usually so well behaved so I think it’s almost worse when he’s the devil and I can’t understand why 😂 we will all manage when little ones arrive I’m sure, I do keep hearing that being pregnant with a toddler is harder than having a newborn and a toddler and although I’m sceptical, I’m trying to believe it could be true 😂🤍
