Baby weaning

Where are you getting recipes for meals for the whole family? People keep telling me “just feed her what you eat” but not everything we eat is suitable. I started so well for the first few weeks and made everything from scratch from the “How to wean your baby” book - all veg really and then it got complicated and I got overwhelmed so moved onto jars for the last 3 weeks (we were on holiday too) I give veg finger foods on the side and doing breakfast like eggs, banana pancakes etc. but I want to just make her nice home cooked meals. What are some of your fave recipes? 💕

I highly recommend following this page, lots of mums sharing their meal ideas and asking questions about weaning! I love seeing what other people are feeding their babies and getting lots of food ideas/recipes x https://www.peanut-app.io/share/Tl7X1UDuSNb

I also have a ton of meal ideas in a photo album on my phone and happy to send you some ideas if you give me a message x

We've done things like: Cottage pie (just use low/no salt stock cubes) Spaghetti/pasta Bolognese (no salt stock) Chilli and rice (no salt stock and smash the beans) Creamy pasta with spinach, cream cheese Tomato pasta using tin tomatoes (then add other veg, tuna, chicken chopped small/shredded, etc) Cheesy pasta Egg fried rice with squashed peas and other small chopped veg Vegetable risotto Fajitas - blended a bit of the filling once made without the wrap Salmon/white fish with boiled potato and veg Homemade burger with pork mince Homemade pizza Omelettes Otherwise if we're having something she can't have, I just give the other parts of the meal e.g. just some mash/boiled potato and veg.
