Anyone on abilify for depression after birth?

I can’t take more than 2mg or it makes me feel worse. But it is an antipsychotic. I’ve never heard of it used for anxiety/depression. But I’ve used it for bipolar. I may not be much help, sorry.

I have bipolar and I used to take it for that! I'm actually getting back on it because my bpd and bipolar has become exacerbated since ppd kicked in. I took 20 mg

@𝐾𝑎𝑦🇨🇦 my psychiatrist (new one) said it's a fast acting one! I took Lamictal and ability for my bipolar and he told me it's better than Lamictal actually because it can help faster. Lamictal you have to go up very slowly.

@Kelly Mae I also used it for bipolar. But I hadn’t heard of it being used for anxiety alone. Maybe just from my experiences.

@𝐾𝑎𝑦🇨🇦 yeah they say people with bipolar can't have things for anxiety because it can spike a mania episode. Although my psych prescribed me hydroxyzine for my anxiety since it's an antihistamine and acts as an anti anxiety medication!
