Am I doing my LH tests wrong?

This is my first time using LH strip tests. The instructions say do them whenever you want, but surely it needs to be when the sample is stronger like you do a HCG test. Am I doing it wrong? Picture of the difference in the comments.

Looks like you're doing it correctly

Well typically LH peaks from 8am to 11am and 2pm-6pm are the best times of day as your LH is at its highest at midday for most women, when the lines get darker and darker I'd be testing 2-3 times until you get your" peak" or "high" ..most people would think it's darker in the morning but this actually isnt the case mine was always high after 9am ,when i first took it with morning wee its was always low , learning about Ovulation and LH is quite alot so if you have any questions pop me a message x

@Holly oh I had no idea about the timing fluctuations through the day. That’s really interesting! Thank you.

HCG test and LH tests are very similar but not taken the same way ,some might have multiple peaks too before Ovulation which is why it's important to test frequently X infact some people in early pregnancy can have a high LH too so it ends up beinga false positive for Ovulation,it's crazy how it works lol 😂

@Holly why do our bodies and hormones have to be so damn complicated 😅
