I'm going off about a month month before my due date. 2 weeks annual leave and then start maternity leave 2 weeks before I'm due

I’m due on 8th Jan, and work in education, so I’m finishing on Dec 21st, when we break up for xmas. So I’ll be 37+3. With my first I finished at 38 weeks, but I’m more tired this time round! ☺️

I'm thinking of going off annual leave 2nd December and starting mat leave 26th December

I’m due 18th Jan, and going off work on 20th Dec :) but my company closes for Christmas so I didn’t see the point going back.

I’m due 19th Jan, and finishing work on 13th Dec

Starting mat leave on my due date 4th January but have 2 weeks annual leave before that

I'm due 4th Jan and my last day will be 24th December as my work closes over Christmas and it wasn't worth returning for a few days!

I live in the US so I’ll work until I pop and then get 12 weeks off with partial pay 🥴 I work as a bedside nurse too so it’s very physical. I’m from the UK so it is painfully heartbreaking to me that I will miss out on a real mat leave.

Due 20/1 but likely to have early, last working day 27/12

@Hayley due date twin! Also working until Christmas break

@M.J so sorry to hear that, i just don’t understand how a supposed first world country can have such shoddy care for mums and families.

I’m due on the 18th January and considering starting maternity leave a week and a half before the due date. I would rather work and earn more than what I’ll get on maternity leave but it is what it is.
