Legit question

So my son was born on the 30th of May.. so obvs every 30th of the subsequent months I count it as one month older…. What do I do in February when there’s only 28 days?! 🤔 All my other kids birthday fall between 3rd and 23rd day of the month so I’ve never faced this conundrum?!? This is a legit question. My husband’s just laughing at me someone please give me ur theories.

I’d just call Feb 28th the month marker for that month and then back to 30th for the rest of them. It’s only 2 days less in the whole year.

Unfortunately I have no answer but I was asking my husband about this the other day and I’m super curious lol 😂

Just count the 28th as the month they are .... if we counted it as a set month then his birthday would be different because there is not the same amount of weeks / days each month...

I would just use the 28th of Feb to say he’s X mos old because otherwise getting into March makes it too messy. If you think about it everyone deals with this during February even if their baby is born on 19th or whatever other day because they’ll still not have a full 30 day month ya know? It does kinda suck that it’s not exact to do it on the actual 30th, but if you wait til Mar 2 then you do it again Mar 30? That seems weird too. So I’d just do Feb 28 as his monthly bday…good luck!

As others have said count the 28th in Feb! That’s what I did for my little girl as she’s born 30th November.

Thanks ladies!! I’ll go with that then. 28th Feb as the final day of the month and closest option. Thanks for not laughing at me! 💕there are actually a lot of lovely none judgemental nice mummas on here💕💕💕

I had the exact same conversation with my husband the other day 🤣 even though this doesn’t apply to our son.

😂😂 I had this question too! Aug 30th birthday! Thank you for asking the hard questions!!

@Cat right!!! The important questions 😅😅 🤣🤣

Also some months have 30 days, some 31. Don't overcomplicate it, a calendar month is a calendar month!
