Potty training encouragement

My son is 3.5 years old. We started potty training about two months ago, and he has learned how to pee in the toilet and hold his poop for days at a time. This led to constipation, which led to a UTI. We dealt with the UTI with antibiotics and ensuring he empties his bladder by putting on a pull up. Therefore intentional regressing. Fast forward, he now just asks for the pull up and has no interest in using the toilet. Has this happened to anyone? Please I am at my wits ends and feel completely defeated.

☺👍 phase out the pull-ups! If a toddler-in-training is still being put in a diaper/nappy or pull-up they feel like they can still continue to do their "business" as usual in it. So technically it's not really changing anything or progressing forward with toilet training as far as the toddler can tell or "feel". So potty training hasn't technically started as far as your child knows. You'll need to make the commitment and do it 100%. No more pull-ups in the house and only use pull-ups for sleeping. You'll find many valuable tips & helpful ideas about this in my potty training videos. They're free on my youtube channel and they're only 10 minutes! https://youtu.be/dl9tOmqESRw I'm Miss Jen, Professional Potty Training Coach. I've been potty training toddlers for over 39+ years. I find it best to stop providing pull-ups during the day time awake hours. Your little cutie should be in cotton underwear or bare bum during the day for best results.
