@Sophie I’m going to try to just go with the flow and not stress about it - which is going to be so hard 😂 but it’ll happen when it happens and if it doesn’t happen at least I have my little boy already
I got pregnant the first time I ovulated after after my coil taken out 🤭 I waited for my period to come and then took hcg tests every day. When I got my peak on the test we had sex like twice a day for 3 days and boom 😂 also look into basal temperature it’s a good way to know if your pregnant before taking the test. Basically if your temp stays high after ovulating for like 2 weeks it’s likely your pregnant. I used the app called premom and you can take a photo of the hcg test and it will tell you wether you have your peak or not. Good luck! Feel free to message me if you need any other tips as I seem to be an expert 😂
@Sarah exactly❤️
Second the above! We tried for 8 months with my first (which i know isn’t long compared to some people) but it was literally the month we gave up “trying” that we got caught. With my second, we got caught first time. It was planned but not actively trying if that makes sense. I strongly believe that getting too strategic with it stops it happening 🤣 If you do want to do some form of “planning” you can track your periods on the flow app it will give you an estimated period where you should be ovulating but i find it to be slightly out, so i’d use that as a baseline and use ovulation strips around that time to find out exactly when i was ovulating and it was much more accurate x
For my second I used the flo app for periods and ovulation but that was it. I did so much trying for my first, daily ovulation tests, basal temperature, all of that and always had negative tests. It wasn't until we stopped trying at Christmas so I could enjoy eating and having a drink without worrying I might have been pregnant that I actually got pregnant😂 I had to give away so much good cheese and smoked salmon
I also used the flo app. I've used it for years before any pregnancies as it is a good way to track my periods and know when I'm due on. It took us 15 months with my first baby but only 1 month with our second. Such exciting times 😊
From experience, honestly I wouldn't put too much thought into it, I tried tracking my cycles etc before I had my first baby and it just made me more stressed, this went on for around 10 months. I then went with the flow a bit and fell within a couple of months. However I do also have very irregular cycles so that probably didn't help things😆. Second time around I just went with it and was pregnant within 3 months of coming off my pill. Best of luck! X
