Gender guess from midwife

My midwife has just guessed the gender based on the sound of the heartbeat. Did anyone else's guess correctly?!

Never heard of this! Did she explain how she could guess from the heartbeat?

@Emma I know I was shocked when she said! She said a boys heartbeat sounds like a train and this didn't so she's guessing a girl x

I don’t think it’s that accurate tbh, mine sounded like a boys to everyone but she’s a girl

the heartbeat does usually indicate whether baby will be a boy or a girl. more often than not it’s accurate x
