Kendamil shortage - alternatives

I used aptamil and never struggled to find it. I’ve been looking recently as I’m due soon and there’s been plenty in all the shops x

Never had an issue with aptamil and bought it bulk at Costco along with the ready to feed bottles. They also sell cow & gate

We use Kendamil organic too but can’t find it anywhere anymore. I’m going to switch to hipp organic today. My baby had it early days and was ok with it so hopefully he still will be now.

We started with kendamil and then switched to aptamil with our son who was in the NICU, the nurses all recommended aptamil over any of the other brands 🤷🏼 His tummy actually seemed to settle a lot more after we switched, when he was on kendamil his poos were always explosive! X

We’ve just made the switch to hipp organic & he’s been fine in it (actually started sleeping a little bit longer too, although I’m sure it’s just a coincidence)

We have the same issue here, I switched to organic and then had the same issues again sold out everywhere so I have switched to aptamil and baby loves it, I have heard it’s very similar to kendamil but we seemed to get on fine

@Sarah all depends where you live. In London is plenty of Kendamil, but if you live somewhere else it might be difficult to find. I have same issue with anti reflux one

@Lauren my lg was constipated on kandamil but she loves aptamil have to admit

@Paulina sorry but I meant aptamil is easy to find. Kendamil always has supply issues. It’s a small factory in the uk and everyone wants it now, even in 2022 there were mums on here struggling to find it.

I’ve never had any issues getting Kendamil I buy it weekly from Waitrose x

@Paulina do you know what it’s funny you should say that as my lg started to only poop every other day and was worrying me then we switched to aptamil and she was just going normally again so I think it agreed with her better than Kendamil xx

I used to just order it from the kendamil website and got it delivered on a subscription (that way if there was ever stock issue it would be prioritised when sending it out and I’d order slightly more than needed just in case of shortages)
