Formula for flight

We’re going away tomorrow, can I just take my babies formula in his bag as usual in a little pot?! Can I get the boiling water on my flight?

You might be better to take ready made bottles of formula or the tabs if you use Aptamil, I think they like it to be in its packaging!

Yes. I used to fly with 8 bottles worth of formula in pre measured pots, 2/3 flasks of boiling water and all of it can go through security. Zero issues.

Yes, you can get boiling water on the flight. I believe there is no restriction on liquid quantity when you are flying with infants. How much water can I take on a plane for a baby? The 100ml hand luggage restriction does apply to expressed breast milk, formula milk, sterilised water and/or baby food if you are flying without your baby.

I have researched that information. My sister was flying with grater than 100ml bottles till my niece was 3 yrs old.

Can take anything you need for a baby, they will just take your baby’s bag of things off to be tested. Doesn’t need to be sealed but if it is they won’t open it 😊

Flew with formula. Full flask of hot water as well, no issues. There is no limit for baby’s food.

You can take whatever you need through in pots flasks or standard packaging however for ease if possible it is tons easier to take pre made formula cartons
