Erm never had one of those?

I've had to ask my midwife what my appointments are for and to actually book my GD appointment in cos that had been missed. Plus the maternity unit was cancelling and rearranging appts and telling me they'd sent letters to tell me but hadn't! So I've been annoyed with them all along lol xx

Yes! Absolutely shite in terms of communicating what appointments are for. As a FTM, I thought midwife appointments would be informative and that there would be more of a guide through the pregnancy process, but I feel very in the dark and ill-informed. Also, I have to chase everything up and get forgotten about in the waiting room at the hospital. It's quite the shit show lol

I get these via text message and they’re so vague.. sometimes doesn’t even tell me where I’m supposed to go for this appointment.. it’s not just the maternity appointments it’s just NHS appointments in general

Yeah I feel annoyed. Have got loads of appointments through as apparently on growth scans but has no explanation of why I'm on growth scans every two weeks as I'm not measuring big and don't have gestational diabetes in this pregnancy. Just makes me so anxious

I don’t understand the amount of appointments generally! I had a midwife appointment and an antenatal appointment a few days apart where they covered exactly the same things so I’m confused what the point of them both was!
