Yeh mine have been bleeding, and sometimes get swollen. I've started using Listerine gum mouthwash which has definitely been working!
@Loren i don’t have a dentist do you think if i ring 111 and get an emergency dental appointment that could help? I can’t even eat an apple without the gum hurting now
Dentist defo. Hormones cause a bigger build up of plaque. The plaque sits on your gum lines causes problems. I had lots of bleeding when brushing until I went to my dentist at 22 weeks and she gave my teeth a really deep clean and chipped a load of plaque off and it kinda hurt but I have zero bleeding when brushing now. My gums are happier

Oh god yeah I’ve been checked at the dentist and it’s fine but they bleed so much all the time always red gums! Been since 13 weeks and yellow tongue haha it’s just a thing apparently’
I'd suggest going to see your dentist, unfortunately dental issues are more common in pregnancy!
