Shoe Recs for Pregnancy

Not getting much helpful feedback in my birth group, so hoping I have better luck here with peers who are also I Have a Podiatrist Now years old šŸ˜„ It's getting cold here and I need some good comfy supportive slip-on shoes! Have some sneakers, but I really want shoes I can kick on and off easily, especially for later in pregnancy. Also having a lot of back pain. I dislike Hokas for running, but I ended up getting a pair of their recovery slides on eBay after seeing a podiatrist for heel pain and now they're my everyday shoe. I refuse to pay over like $60 for anything besides running shoes though, and I can't find any of their slip-on models for that even secondhand. Usually not a sneaker person besides running, so not sure where to start. I may just have to suck it up and shell out for the Hokas. Maybe they'll have a good Black Friday Sale.

I believe sketchers sell a slip on shoe that doesn't require hand support to put them on

Vionic sandals. Shoes with Abeo insoles, esp boots. Itā€™s all about insoles, mamma. Try out a free types. You can get stick-ons, 3/4 insoles, and ones you can mold to your foot (great for PF). Iā€™m sure your pod already told you. Go to FootSmart if you havenā€™t and learn about the different types. Also for their sales. Vionic has their own site and they are the bomb. Also try Majabis - though theyā€™re pricy, theyā€™re worth it. They have a new clog and some slip-ons you can wear anywhere. I want to start a shoe store.

@Tia oh I forgot all about Sketchers, thanks! I used to like their line of work shoes when I waited tables.

@Krissa I'll look into the insoles, thanks! I've only tried random ones like Dr Scholl's and never found any that seem to make much difference. I moved states, so I do remember the podiatrist having some recommendations but of course they were all super spendy customized. Will have to see if there's a FootSmart around here. The local running group might have some good recs for a store too. Had a couple of great ones in Nashville. Moving is so exhausting to have to find all new everything!

I second the Skechers. They are so comfortable! They have a lot of good neutral options like gray or taupeā€¦that look good with pretty much anything. I have a memory foam one right now that I love.
