Congrats lovely 🤍 what a little dink! How wrong could they have got the percentile!! What were they estimating him to weigh?! 😖😫

Thank you! I never had a growth scan because even though he was measuring big, it wasn't abnormal on his growth chart. I was told he would likely be 9lbs+! First thing we had to do was buy smaller clothes 🤣

Congratulations!! Mine was also on the 97th centile and weighed a whopping 6lbs 8oz

So was that estimate just from bump measurements? If so goes to show how useless they are really!

@Charley yeah, purely from bump measurements! I panicked for months thinking that he was going to be big so if I ever have another, I'd pay no attention to it. I just had a big bump 🤷🏼‍♀️

@Anna I've been told I've got a big baby, have had 2 growth scans so we'll see how big he is when he comes out on Thursday 😆

My baby girl was born on the 12 October! A surprise as well weighing 6lbs 6oz! Congratulations!

Congratulations! So weird with the estimated weights - my 2nd baby wasn’t measuring big however came out at 9lbs 13oz 😅🫠

I was told the same thing… was having growth scans every 2 weeks and my baby only came out 7lb 1 🤦🏼‍♂️ caused me so much stress and anxiety worrying how she was going to come out. They even gave me leaflets on 3rd and 4th degree tears! 🙈

Mine was the opposite. They told me a 6.5lb / 7lb baby and he came out at 38+5 weighing 8lb 8oz 🤣

Oh my god they induced me because they told me I would have a 10lb baby but my little girl came out 8lb and even that, she is TINY 😱😅
