Holidays

It sucks when you’re trying to plan holidays for your family and there’s people out there that should love them and want to be a part of their lives but they refuse. My in-laws live about 30 minutes from our house, are constantly in the area, and haven’t visited in over a year. My SIL lives 3 hours away and they visit every other month or so. And no, it’s not my responsibility to make sure they have a relationship with my kids. And no, I’m not making time to go see them when my family is clearly not a priority for them. An hour round trip with 2 under 2 and balancing nap schedules is hard and it wouldn’t kill them to have a little initiative.
