Increasing milk supply / relactation

Good morning. I would like to figure out how to increase my supply again. My son started to slow down on nursing because he started to sleep through the night at 5 months and whenever I would try to wake him up to feed, he would refuse. He’s currently on a non-dairy formula and dislikes it. He still wants to nurse, and I need help trying to increase it.

I am facing a similar issue right now, and this also happened ever since she started to sleep through the night. I have not yet got insights from others but I started waking up at night to Power Pump (20mins on 10min off 10min on 10min off 10mins on —> 1hr). It tends to help increase the milk supply over a few days. I also started taking supplements that aid milk production. Think it’s starting to improve but too early to tell as it’s only been 2 days.

They say 6hrs is the sweet spot for not reducing your supply. So if your little one is sleeping more than that in a stretch you will probably want to wake up and pump. You don’t need to pump until empty though. I started keeping a manual pump by my bedside just to pump a little in the middle of the night. Honestly though I don’t do it every night.

Pump often! Have some soup! 👍
